Mr Thomas has been a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon for more than 14 years and specialises in adult hip and knee surgery, as well as providing general trauma care.
His interests include; complex primary hip and knee arthroplasty, (joint replacement surgery), knee soft tissue surgery including sports ligament, reconstruction, (ACL injuries), Young adult hip pain including hip impingement, labral tears and hip arthroscopy.

Personal profile
Mr Thomas is married to a local GP with three delightful children. When they give him some freedom he enjoys mountain biking and road cycling. He is a nervous skier, although told technically he is quite competent. His ambition is to play more golf. The next challenge is to learn to swim well, like his children, whom he envies from the shore!
