I am a consultant oral and maxillofacial surgeon seeing patients at Spire with conditions affecting the mouth, jaw, face and salivary glands. I offer careful assessment, clear explanations and personalised treatment plans for both straightforward and more complex concerns.
I regularly treat patients with dental and jaw‑related problems, oral soft‑tissue conditions, salivary gland disease and disorders of the temporomandibular joint, which can cause facial pain, stiffness and difficulty with movement. I also see patients who require the removal of oral soft‑tissue lesions and those with symptoms affecting the mouth that need specialist oral medicine input.
Alongside my clinical work at Spire, I have many years of experience within NHS maxillofacial surgery, including work in major trauma services. This background allows me to manage a broad spectrum of conditions with a measured and evidence‑based approach. My focus is always on accurate diagnosis and choosing treatments that are both effective and appropriate for each patient’s needs.
I am also actively involved in medico‑legal work, preparing expert reports where required, and have a long‑standing academic interest in facial trauma and pathology. My experience includes publishing widely in medical journals and authoring a textbook on facial fractures, helping to inform best practice in the specialty.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and travelling. I also enjoy clay pigeon shooting, tennis, bridge and walking.
