I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in hip and knee conditions, with a particular focus on joint replacement and joint preservation surgery.

I see patients with a wide range of hip and knee problems, from early arthritis through to more complex cases requiring revision (re-do) surgery. Alongside hip and knee replacement, I also offer joint preservation procedures such as osteotomy, which can help delay or avoid the need for full joint replacement in some patients.

I manage a high volume of complex hip and knee cases, including revision surgery, and regularly use advanced techniques such as augmented reality-assisted knee replacement to help improve accuracy and outcomes. My approach is always centred on achieving the best possible long-term results for each patient.

Having trained in Liverpool, I went on to complete specialist fellowship training internationally, including advanced training in hip and knee reconstruction in Canada. This experience has shaped my approach to both routine and complex surgery.

In addition to my clinical work, I am Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee at Spire Murrayfield Hospital Wirral, where I help oversee clinical governance and patient safety.

I am committed to providing clear, honest advice and working closely with patients to ensure they feel confident and fully informed about their treatment options.
