I have been a Consultant Ophthalmologist for the last 10 years. I have specialised in medical retina and cataract surgery. I qualified in 1996 and have done post graduate training and an MD in ophthalmology in India and specialist training and fellowships in the Mersey region. 

I manage patients with difficult retinal diseases like diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, retinal vein occlusion, uveitis and so on. I also manage patients with minor lid lesions, cataract and laser treatments for post cataract thickening.

To date, I have performed more than 1,500 cataract surgeries several hundred intravitreal injections and implants along with minor lid surgeries.
