I am a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Spire Murrayfield Hospital and Spire Abergele Clinic, and currently Clinical Lead for Ophthalmology at Arrowe Park Hospital.

I specialise in a wide range of eye conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, dry eyes, squints, double vision and problems affecting the optic nerve and visual pathways. I also support patients with eyelid cysts and lumps, as well as those experiencing eye problems following a stroke, such as visual field loss.

A key focus of my practice is cataract and lens replacement surgery, where I aim to achieve the best possible visual outcomes using a personalised approach. I offer patients a choice of lens options to suit their lifestyle and visual needs, helping them feel confident in their results.

I lead the glaucoma and neuro-ophthalmology services at Arrowe Park Hospital and use the latest techniques, including modern stent procedures that can often be performed under local anaesthetic. I also provide treatments such as YAG laser for patients following cataract surgery.

My interest in “eyes and the brain” means I regularly manage complex conditions affecting vision and neurological function, taking a thorough and patient-focused approach to care.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the cinema and theatre, and keeping active at the gym.
