I am a Consultant Physician in Endocrinology and Diabetes with extensive experience in managing a wide range of hormonal and metabolic conditions.
I support patients with all aspects of diabetes care, including both type 1 and type 2 diabetes, and related complications such as neuropathy. I have a particular interest in type 2 diabetes and weight management, using a combination of lifestyle support and medical treatments to help patients improve control and, where possible, achieve remission.
Alongside diabetes care, I manage a broad range of endocrine conditions, including disorders of the thyroid, parathyroid, pituitary and adrenal glands, as well as bone and metabolic health. I also support patients with reproductive and women’s health concerns such as polycystic ovary syndrome and menopause.
My approach is centred on compassionate, personalised care. I take time to listen and understand each patient’s goals, working together to create a treatment plan that fits their lifestyle and supports long-term health.
In addition to my clinical work, I hold senior leadership roles, including Diabetes Clinical Lead for the Cheshire and Merseyside Clinical Network, where I help improve diabetes care across the region. I am also actively involved in service development, education and research.
Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, reading and travelling.
