I qualified from Nottingham University Medical School in 1990 and have since worked all over the country and for 12 months in Australia. I completed my specialist dermatology training in Liverpool in 2000 and then became a Consultant Dermatologist at the RLBUHT in 2001 with its main department base at Broadgreen Hospital. I am a general adult dermatologist with an interest in inflammatory diseases and skin cancer and and was the Clinical Director of dermatology and allergy between 2010 and 2016 and since 2016 the Clinical Lead. My specialist interests are phototherapy for inflammatory skin disease and cutaneous lymphoma.
