I am a Consultant Cardiologist providing comprehensive assessment and treatment for a wide range of heart conditions, with a particular interest in ischaemic heart disease, atrial fibrillation, high blood pressure and heart failure. My aim is to help patients clearly understand their heart health and feel confident about their treatment options.
I offer a full range of cardiology investigations, including echocardiography, exercise treadmill testing, ambulatory ECG and blood pressure monitoring, as well as cardiac CT coronary angiography. These tests allow heart conditions to be assessed accurately and efficiently, often helping to guide treatment decisions without delay.
I have been a Consultant Cardiologist at Wirral University Teaching Hospital since 1994 and also see patients at Spire Murrayfield Hospital (Wirral). Alongside my clinical work, I am Clinical Service Lead for Cardiology at Wirral University Teaching Hospital, where I am closely involved in maintaining and improving high standards of cardiac care.
I work with patients with both common and complex heart conditions, including atrial fibrillation, hypertension and congenital heart disease, and I place strong emphasis on clear communication and personalised care.
Outside of work, I am married with two children and enjoy golf, skiing and football. I am a keen golfer and a long‑standing Liverpool FC season ticket holder.
