BSc, MSc, Dclin
I have a wide range of experience as a Clinical Psychologist working with individuals across the life span who have a range of mental health difficulties. I have worked more specifically with individuals struggling with their mental health due to receiving a physical health diagnosis. I have worked in: Diabetes, respiratory, cystic fibrosis, cardiology, renal and many more.
I am skilled in a range of therapeutic approaches and can tailor my approach to be person centred to each individual. My approach to therapy is to help patients develop a better understanding of their current difficulties and improve their quality of life. I have worked within the NHS for over 10 years and have several years work of private experience.
Alongside my therapy work I provide assessments for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder using the gold standard assessment tools. Having an assessment can be a daunting experience so I aim to make this as comfortable as possible.
