I am a Clinical Psychologist with over ten years’ experience working within the NHS and several years in private practice. I work with individuals across the lifespan who are experiencing a wide range of mental health difficulties, always taking a warm, person‑centred approach tailored to each individual.
A particular focus of my work is supporting people whose mental health has been affected by a physical health diagnosis. I have extensive experience working alongside medical teams in areas such as diabetes, respiratory conditions, cystic fibrosis, cardiology, renal care, and palliative care. I aim to help patients better understand their current difficulties, build effective coping strategies, and improve their overall quality of life.
I use a range of evidence‑based psychological therapies, adapting my approach to meet each person’s needs. My focus is on helping people feel supported, informed, and empowered as they work through challenges such as anxiety, low mood, adjustment to illness, and emotional distress linked to health conditions.
Alongside therapeutic work, I also provide specialist assessments for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) using gold‑standard assessment tools. I understand that assessments can feel daunting, and I aim to make the process as clear, supportive, and comfortable as possible from start to finish.
My approach is collaborative and compassionate, with the goal of helping individuals gain insight, build resilience, and move forward with confidence.
