Virtual consultations:
I am a Consultant Gynaecologist at Spire Liverpool Hospital, where I provide comprehensive care for women across all stages of reproductive health, from adolescence through to menopause.
I have wide experience in the investigation and treatment of pelvic pain, menstrual problems and hormonal conditions. This includes managing heavy, painful or irregular periods, absent or delayed periods, premenstrual symptoms and pre‑menstrual dysphoric disorder, as well as conditions such as polycystic ovarian syndrome and premature menopause. I also support women through the menopause, offering hormone replacement therapy where appropriate.
At Spire Liverpool, I offer both medical and surgical treatments, including laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures, Mirena coil insertion, polypectomy and surgery for vaginal prolapse. I also have a strong interest in fertility and am recognised for my work in assessing and treating both female and male infertility, including supporting couples through assisted conception when needed.
Alongside my clinical practice, I contribute to the wider advancement of gynaecological care. I am involved in updating national NHS guidance for doctors and regularly work at the forefront of evidence‑based practice. My doctorate in medicine was awarded by the University of Liverpool, and my ongoing involvement in education, research and guideline development ensures patients at Spire Liverpool benefit from up‑to‑date, high‑quality care.
My approach is always supportive, thorough and individualised, with time taken to listen, explain and agree the best plan for each patient.
