I am a Consultant Gynaecological Surgeon and Oncologist with extensive experience in managing a wide range of women’s health conditions, including both benign and cancer-related concerns.
I specialise in gynaecological surgery, including complex procedures, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of gynaecological cancers. I also support patients with fibroids, pelvic pain, menstrual concerns, menopausal health and vulval conditions, offering care that is tailored to each individual.
I completed my medical training in Egypt before undertaking specialist training in the UK, gaining experience in Newcastle, Leicester and Cambridge, where I further developed advanced skills in minimally invasive (keyhole) surgery and gynaecological oncology. I have worked as a consultant since 2012 and now practise in Liverpool, caring for patients across both NHS and independent settings.
Alongside my clinical work, I have a strong interest in research, education and service development within women’s health. I have contributed to national guidelines, published widely and presented at conferences internationally.
I understand that many gynaecological conditions can be sensitive and often complex, so I aim to provide clear, supportive guidance throughout diagnosis and treatment.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, travelling and reading.
