Mr Daniel Smith
BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy
I am a Chartered Physiotherapist specialising in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. I specialise in management of musculoskeletal conditions and have a particular interest in the rehabilitation of the knee, ankle and foot. I utilise a range of treatment modalities in my practice including: manual therapy, exercise therapy, acupuncture and taping. I have also completed a Pilates course and provide one to one sessions as well as covering Pilates classes when needed.
I studied at Coventry University (Leicester University campus) and qualified with a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy in 2012. I have worked as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist in private practice since graduating in 2012, I initially worked in Leicestershire and Northamptonshire before moving to Newcastle and have spent the last 2 years working on the Wirral and in Liverpool.
Through my previous employment I have worked with a range of organisations to provide Physiotherapy including: Tata Steel, North West Ambulance Service, Rolls Royce, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service, the Ministry of Defence and the NHS. I joined Spire Liverpool Hospital in January 2017.
I am currently studying for a Masters qualification in Sports Injury Rehabilitation at Salford University. I have a postgraduate qualification in acupuncture completed in 2014.
