I have been a consultant orthopaedic and trauma surgeon since 2006 and I am an expert in knee surgery including soft tissue injuries/ ligament injury, arthroscopic surgery and knee replacements. I am also an expert witness for the courts with a vast experience in medicolegal injury cases.

Whilst training I was fortunate to be awarded the penrose may surgical prize from the Royal College of Surgeons of England for the FRCS in Surgery in General.

I have trained in the West Midlands before returning to Liverpool to complete my training in Liverpool. I have undergone fellowship training in the UK.

I specialise in sports injuries, arthroscopic surgery and joint replacement of the knee including using Robot Assisted Surgery for knee replacement.

I was appointed as a consultant orthopaedic and trauma surgeon in 2006 to Aintree Hospitals NHS Trust,now part of Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Trust.

My elective practice is based in broadgreen hospital where I perform soft tissue ligament surgery, arthroscopic surgery and knee replacements including total and unicompartment replacements. More recently I have been using robotic assisted surgery to perform knee replacement surgery.

I am very experienced in soft tissue arthroscopic surgery and replacement knee surgery.

I am also an experienced trauma surgeon with experience in major trauma and complex trauma of the lower limb in Aintree Hospital's major trauma centre.
