Some of the principal treatments carried out by Professor Ian Chetter at Spire include:
Endovenous treatment of varicose veins, ultrasound guided foam sclerotherapy, microsclerotherapy for thread veins, ambulatory phlebectomy, carotid surgery for TIA/stroke, Aortic aneurysm repair, vascular access surgery, ultrasound assessment of atrial and venous disease
Internationally recognised expert in the the management of varicose veins, particularly minimally invasive, local anaesthetic, "walk in, walk out" endothermal ablation - laser treatment, ultrasound guided foam sclerotherapy, microsclerotherapy for thread veins and. ambulatory phlebectomy. Also expertise in arterial surgery (carotid surgery for TIA/stroke, aortic aneurysm repair, lower limb bypass for peripheral arterial disease, and vascular access surgery for dialysis. Also qualified to perform ultrasound assessment of atrial and venous disease.
