  • Thread vein treatment

I am a consultant vascular surgeon at Spire Hull & East Riding Hospital, specialising in the treatment of varicose veins and complex vascular conditions. I have a particular interest in minimally invasive treatments for varicose veins and offer “walk in, walk out” procedures performed under local anaesthetic. These include endothermal laser ablation and ambulatory phlebectomy, helping patients receive effective treatment with minimal disruption to their daily lives.

Alongside venous treatments, I have extensive experience in arterial surgery. I perform carotid surgery to help prevent stroke and treat transient ischaemic attacks (TIA), often known as mini-strokes. My practice also includes aortic aneurysm repair and lower limb bypass surgery for peripheral arterial disease, which affects blood flow to the legs. In addition, I carry out vascular access surgery for patients who require dialysis treatment.

As part of my approach to vascular care, I am qualified to perform detailed ultrasound assessments for both arterial and venous conditions. This allows me to accurately diagnose vascular problems and create tailored treatment plans based on each patient’s individual needs.

My practice covers all aspects of vascular surgery, with a strong focus on varicose vein treatment, minimally invasive techniques and ultrasound-guided care. I am committed to providing safe, effective treatment and supporting patients throughout every stage of their care.
