I graduated from Sheffield Medical School in 1997 and did all of my postgraduate training in obstetrics and gynaecology in the Yorkshire region. I was appointed as a consultant in obstetrics and gynaecology in Hull in September 2008. During my training I gained experience in general gynaecology including urinary incontinence and vaginal prolapse. My areas of special interest include menstrual problems, endometriosis and hysteroscopic and laparoscopic procedures.
General gynaecology, period disorder investigation, painful period investigation, laparoscopic surgery (including removal of endometriosis), laparoscopy and dye, hysteroscopy and hysteroscopic surgery, endometrial ablation and resection, hysterectomy, unexplained vaginal bleeding, urogynaecology and insertion of Trans Obturator Tape (TOT), prolapse repair, recurrent miscarriage investigation, termination of pregnancy, sterilisation, reversal sterilisation
I am a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, the British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopists and the European Society of Gynaecological Endoscopists.
