I have been working as a consultant ophthalmologist since 2008, with a focus on delivering modern, efficient care while always putting my patients’ needs first. I graduated in medicine in 1996 and have spent over 20 years training and working in ophthalmology across respected teaching centres in the UK and internationally. Throughout my career, I have gained a range of specialist qualifications and memberships in ophthalmic organisations.

Alongside my clinical work, I have contributed to research and education, with 20 publications and nearly 100 presentations at national and international level. I have also received awards for my scientific work.

I specialise in cataract and advanced refractive cataract surgery, as well as laser and lens-based vision correction procedures designed to reduce or remove the need for glasses. This includes premium lens surgery using toric, multifocal and extended depth of focus implants, as well as refractive lens exchange and implantable contact lenses (ICL).

I also diagnose and treat a wide range of eye conditions, including glaucoma, and perform treatments such as YAG laser capsulotomy. My work in corneal and anterior segment surgery includes managing conditions affecting the front of the eye. This covers procedures such as corneal transplantation using modern techniques like DSAEK, treatment for keratoconus with corneal collagen cross-linking and intrastromal implants, and removal of pterygium.

In addition, I offer oculofacial plastic surgery. This includes eyelid procedures such as blepharoplasty, correction of droopy eyelids (ptosis), treatment of eyelid cysts and lesions, management of watery eyes, and surgery to correct in-turning or out-turning eyelids.

My practice is centred around providing care that is both advanced and compassionate. I aim to ensure that every patient feels informed, comfortable and confident in their treatment, with their best interests guiding every decision I make.
