I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon offering expert care at Spire Hull and East Riding Hospital. I provide comprehensive, evidence based complex fore foot and hind foot tertiary referral work in addition to routine knee surgery. I am proficient in dealing with sports injuries to the knee and ankle. I am well versed in advanced minimally invasive and unicompartmental (partial) joint replacement surgery of the knee, and welcome patients from Hull, East Yorkshire, Scunthorpe, Grimsby and surrounding areas.
The services I provide include, routine forefoot surgery, hind foot surgery, knee replacement surgery, minimal invasive knee surgery, unicompartmental (partial) knee replacement, ligament reconstruction of ankle and knee, arthroscopic surgery of knee and ankle and complex and revision forefoot work.
In addition i also provide procedures such as bunion removal and ingrown toenail surgery and treatments for chronic foot, ankle and heel pain, foot deformities, arthritis and fractures.
I gained my MBBS and subsequent MS(Ortho) degrees in India and moved to the UK to get advanced training in trauma and orthopaedics. I completed specialist orthopaedic training in the Oswestry/Stoke and the North West Rotation and obtained my CCT in Trauma and Orthopaedics in October 2006.
I developed a subspecialist interest in foot and ankle surgery and also completed a Fellowship in Adult Lower Limb Reconstructive Surgery. I trained in Wrightington and Wigan, Royal Preston, Stepping Hill, Royal Blackburn and North Staffordshire Royal Infirmary while gaining the above specialist experience.
