I am a Consultant General Surgeon at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, with a sub-specialist interest in upper gastrointestinal (GI) surgery. This area focuses on conditions affecting the upper part of the digestive system, including the oesophagus and stomach.
In my practice, I provide care for a wide range of general surgical conditions. I aim to ensure that patients feel fully informed and supported throughout their treatment, taking the time to explain diagnoses and procedures clearly.
I perform a variety of procedures, including hernia surgery and gastroscopy, which is a test used to examine the inside of the oesophagus and stomach. I also carry out laparoscopic (keyhole) investigations and treatments, offering minimally invasive options where appropriate. In addition, I treat conditions such as ingrown toenails.
