I have over 20 years of ophthalmic experience and can provide a comprehensive opinion for the vast array of eye problems. My surgical caseload is enjoyably varied, ranging from lids to orbital decompression for thyroid eye disease. I also perform a weekly high volume refractive cataract surgery list.
Teaching is an important part of my role and encompasses both undergraduate and postgraduate roles. In addition, I lecture to local GPs and optometrists. I am a senior lecturer for Hull York Medical School and have published and lectured widely.
I am a member of the medical advisory committee at Spire Hull and East Riding Hospital. I am the Medical Director for Family and Women’s Health Group, Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust.
