I am a specialist orthopaedic surgeon with a focused interest in lower limb conditions, offering private treatment for patients at Spire Hull and East Riding Hospital and across East Yorkshire. I regularly see patients with hip, knee, ankle and foot problems, as well as sports‑related injuries.
My main clinical interest is knee surgery, particularly sports injuries and cruciate ligament conditions such as ACL injuries. I provide a full range of treatments including knee and ankle arthroscopy, knee ligament surgery, partial and total knee replacement and computer‑guided knee replacement. I am also trained in less invasive techniques for partial knee replacement and hip replacement, helping suitable patients recover more quickly.
I graduated from St Bartholomew’s Hospital Medical School in London and completed extensive specialist training in hip and knee surgery, including senior training at the Elective Orthopaedic Centre in Surrey and a fellowship in New Zealand focusing on trauma and knee surgery. Alongside my surgical work, I undertook full‑time research at Imperial College London, studying ACL and PCL anatomy, and was awarded an MS degree for my thesis on ACL.
In my clinical practice, I offer a comprehensive range of treatments including hip arthroscopy and hip replacement, knee replacement surgery, joint injections to relieve pain, platelet‑rich plasma (PRP) therapy, cartilage grafting and detailed assessment of sports‑related injuries.
