Professional profile
I have worked as a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon since 2001. I trained at Cambridge University and Oxford University before going on to hold junior posts in Bath, Canterbury and Oxford. My senior plastic surgery training was undertaken in units throughout Yorkshire. I undertook a fellowship in Plastic Surgery in Adelaide, Australia. I am a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, a member of the British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS), the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) and the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH).
I have regularly presented at national and international meetings and have over 80 publications and presentations in the field of Plastic Surgery.
I offer cosmetic surgery for individuals who feel the need to revise or change the appearance, structure or position of their features which may otherwise be considered as outside the broad range of "normal". The decision to undergo any cosmetic procedure should not be taken lightly and it is essential to have informed and realistic expectations of the results. Patients are always seen by me for their initial consultation, and surgery is undertaken by me at the Spire Hull and East Riding Hospital, supported by a dedicated team of health care professionals.
