I qualified as a dietitian in 2012 after completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics. Before that I obtained a degree in nutrition from the Uinversity of Nottingham.

I have worked as a community dietitian providing outpatient services to a range of different people. This position allowed me to gain a wide range of experience treating many different nutritional problems. These included malnutrition, ceoliac disease, IBS, obesity and type 2 diabetes.

I joined Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust in 2015, I specialised in providing nutrition support for patients undergoing cancer treatments before moving into supporting patients pre and post weight loss surgery. This is an area of particular interest, I am delighted to be a part of the team at Spire Hull and East Riding Hospital.

I enjoy spending my time away from work with my family and friends. I particularly enjoy having them around for dinner or a BBQ should the sun shine long enough. I really am passionate about food and love to cook and try out new recipes. I really enjoy keeping fit and active so given the chance I will be outside in the fresh air. I enjoy traveling, and take any opportunity to discover new places and try new experiences.
