Specialises in
I completed my postgraduate training in obstetrics and gynaecology through the Wessex and Yorkshire Deaneries. During this time, I further developed my skills as a senior clinical fellow at the Royal Free Hospital in London, where I also achieved a Diploma in ultrasound. I was appointed as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in 2010, and since then have continued to support women with a wide range of gynaecological conditions.
I have a particular interest in helping women manage menstrual problems, as well as more sensitive concerns such as pain or bleeding during sex. I also support women who have experienced early pregnancy loss, providing care with understanding and compassion.
My practice includes a range of diagnostic and surgical procedures tailored to each individual’s needs. These include minimally invasive (keyhole) procedures such as laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, as well as treatments like Novasure endometrial ablation to manage heavy periods. I also perform pelvic floor repair surgery and vaginal hysterectomy for prolapse.
In addition, I carry out total laparoscopic hysterectomy and abdominal hysterectomy, commonly for women with heavy, painful periods or fibroids. My aim is always to offer clear guidance on the options available, so you can make informed decisions about your care.
Alongside my clinical work, I undertake medico-legal work within obstetrics and gynaecology. This includes providing expert opinions and preparing detailed medical reports where required.
