Hand therapy
A treatment for hand and wrist conditions to help restore function
Spire Harpenden Hospital has a fully qualified specialist hand therapy physiotherapist, Tina Cockhill. Tina works very closely with our hand consultants and can work with your GP in order to offer you a seamless service.
We are able to offer you a comprehensive individualised treatment programme for all hand and wrist conditions in order to restore maximum functional recovery.
We treat conditions including:
- sprains/strains
- fractures
- carpal tunnel syndrome
- arthritis
- unexplained hand pain
- post-surgical treatment (which may involve custom made splints)
All conditions will be explained fully to you in order to give you a greater understanding of the diagnosis and treatments options - thus enabling you to return to your former activity level as quickly as possible.
