On 25 January this year I had a procedure called Rafaelo which was carried out by Mr Alla Amin at Spire Hospital, Harpenden. I had suffered pain and discomfort with my haemorrhoids for some time but was too nervous to consider the conventional methods for their removal. Mr. Amin explained how the Rafaelo method works. It is carried out under local anaesthesia and allows the patient to go home the same day and back to work the following day.
The procedure took no time at all. It was completely painless and I was discharged from hospital a couple of hours later. That same evening I went out to a restaurant for dinner with friends!
