I have been awarded a Diploma in Cataract and Refractive Surgery from Ulster University, UK. I completed my basic ophthalmic specialist training in Tennent Institute of Ophthalmology, UK, followed by training at the University Hospital of Leicester. My subspecialty training culminated in a two-year retina and uveitis at the prestigious University Hospital of Cambridge and Moorfields Eye Hospital in London.

I am an NHS Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Lister Hospital, Stevenage and the New QE II, Welwyn Garden City.

My busy clinical practice is complemented by my involvement in teaching and research. I lecture widely to doctors, surgeons, patient groups, GPs and other health professionals. I have published research work and articles in the international peer reviewed journals.
