I am a respected ENT Consultant with over 20 years experience of performing ENT surgery. I specialise in all aspects of ENT and have specialist expertise in Paediatric ENT, Rhinology and Facial Plastics. I'm on the GMC specialist register, an accredited trainer and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. I have been awarded Clinical Excellence Awards and was recently appointed RCS Deputy Director of Surgery East of England.

My primary aim is to enhance the quality of my patients' lives. I provide detailed and personalised care, whether that may be medical or surgical, with consistently high standards of clinical practice, as evidenced by my patients' and colleagues' feedback over many years.

I specialise in child/paediatric and adult ENT/Otorhinolaryngology and head and neck surgery – including intracapsular coblation tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy and grommets (for OSA/tonsillitis/glue ear). I also specialise in nose surgery/rhinology – endoscopic sinus surgery including balloon sinuplasty and dacryocystorhinostomy (DCR) surgery for sinusitis, nasal tumours and watery eyes.

I graduated from Barts and the London Hospital, where I was also elected Vice-President of the Students’ Association. I went on to undertake specialist ENT training in London, at centres of excellence including the Royal National ENT Hospital, St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London Hospitals, Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, St Mary’s Hospital, Guy’s, St Thomas’ and Evelina London Children’s Hospitals.

I undertook super specialist Fellowship training in Paediatric ENT and Rhinology and Facial Plastic Surgery and am one of less than a handful of UK ENT Surgeons who is Fellowship accredited in both Paediatric ENT and Rhinology and Facial Plastic Surgery. I gained further expertise by spending some time overseas in the USA at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and in Spain.

I was first appointed as a Consultant at Guy’s, St Thomas’ & Evelina London Children’s Hospitals and moved to continue my interests in both Paediatric ENT and Rhinology and Facial Plastic Surgery. My current NHS base is at Luton & Dunstable University Hospital where I have been ENT Education Lead and College Surgical Tutor for over six years.

I am actively involved in research. I have been the Principle Investigator/Hospital Lead of NIHR trials and have published over 40 papers (including in the Lancet), 6 book chapters and have lectured on numerous postgraduate courses. I have presented and been invited as a Chairman at major International Conferences. I am a Lecturer in Rhinology and Facial Plastic Surgery at Canterbury ChristChurch University and have been shortlisted for various national and international ENT Surgery Training Awards.

I was the first UK ENT Surgeon to use a new form of augmented reality on patients to enhance Sinus surgery, in order to improve training but more importantly, patient safety. I am also the regional representative for the British Society of Facial Plastic Surgery.
