I am a Senior Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and lead Urogynaecology Consultant for East and North Hertfordshire Trust.
I specialise in pelvic floor operations including incontinence, prolapses and vaginal surgeries. I treat complex and recurrent pelvic floor conditions for urinary incontinence and prolapse.
I developed the first recurrent miscarriages and pregnancy loss clinic in Hertfordshire, which gained a national reputation. Due to its high success rate, it attracted referrals from beyond our catchment area. I developed an interest in subfertility and I'm linked with several IVF centres for IVF, ICSI and other assisted conception techniques.
I also specialised in major laparoscopic surgery for pelvic pains, endometriosis and other gynaecological conditions.
After graduation in 1987, I had a wide range of experience in large university hospitals such as Norfolk and Norwich Hospital, Birmingham Maternity Hospital and Leicester Royal Infirmary.
I am widely regarded as a good lecturer and regularly get invited to lecture in scientific meetings.
I am popular and highly regarded by my patients and was recently nominated by a patient as an NHS Hero.
