I specialise in assessing and treating people with eye problems, dealing especially with removing the need for spectacles, laser and refractive surgery, cataract, glaucoma, removal of lumps and blemishes of the skin including the eyelids, and Neuro-ophthalmology.
I graduated from the University of Bristol Medicine School in 1986, training subsequently under specific experts in the different disciplines of eye care in Oxford, London, Nottingham, Leeds, Liverpool, then returning to London in 1995 to work as a Consultant eye specialist and surgeon.
I perform approximately 40 operations a month (mainly cateract) a lesser number of glaucoma operations.
I am passionate about leaving patients spectacle-free following refractive cataract/laser/lens surgery, always incorporating the latest proven lenses and techniques to optimise success in these cases and have an excellent reputation in this field.
To date, I have carried out 10,407 cataract operations, 1,206 laser/refractive operations, 308 glaucoma operations and 1,148 cosmetic/skin operations.
