I have been a doctor for 20 years, a decade and a half of these as a general practitioner.
I passionately believe that Medicine is a combination of science and art. As your personal physician, I will adhere to the highest quality, world-class and effective care. I hold the firm view that prevention is the ultimate objective of healthcare. Based on this premise, I will do everything in my power to ensure, as my patient, you enjoy the best health you can. I look after all ages, from newborns to centenarians.
As a family man and father myself, I understand how important relationships are to people and the need to balance personal and professional aspects of your life. Therefore, I work in partnership with my patients and guide them through difficult decision-making processes by providing them with up-to-date information whilst respecting their wishes.
The service I offer intends to make better for all parties concerned. I ardently believe that clinical care should be holistic and patient centric, and always provide personalised, tailored management, with the you – the patient – at the core.
Holistic care is also individualised. Patients should have the time to discuss their problems at length and not feel rushed or constrained to only talk about one problem at a time.
We all have unique needs and individual goals. Taking time to discuss these fully is not only beneficial for the patient, it is undoubtedly more satisfying for the physician, who will then be in a much better position to offer a more comprehensive plan.
By taking this approach, I can then focus on optimising health and wellness – both physical and mental. We can spend time discussing disease prevention and early detection, in addition to any mental health issues you may be facing.
With me by your side you can then combat problems before they become significant. Becoming in the process a healthier, happier you!
I am a Senior Medical School Tutor at UCL, Imperial and Barts, as well as being a GP appraiser – helping my GP colleagues with their educational and developmental needs through the obligatory, annual appraisal process.
If you are unable to come and see me in clinic, I am available for home and office visits in the Hertfordshire and Greater London areas.
Additionally I undertake some media work. I have previously presented three series of a weekly medical health phone in show for an independent cable TV channel, which proved to be extremely popular with the general public.
Furthermore, I have also worked with Public Health England on a campaign promoting health and well-being in the Winter months, and have appeared on several local radio and TV shows.

I am married and have three gorgeous children. I love walks in the beautiful English countryside and listening to classical music. I also enjoy reading and keeping up to date with current political events – medical and non medical.
