Neurodevelopmental Clinic A Neurodevelopmental Clinic would provide a comprehensive assessment and treatment for children and young people with possible Neurodevelopmental Delay. This service would include multidisciplinary assessments for Autism, ADHD, Tourette's syndrome, Global and Specific Developmental Disorders. The treatment offered would involve parental intervention and individual intervention (medication, CBT) in order to target associated behavioural disorders and/or emotional difficulties such as anxiety and depression. The clinic would work closely with relevant educational facilities whilst offering recommendations and/or interventions that are considered necessary.
Mood and Emotional Disorders A service can be offered to support children, young people and their families who are presenting with emotional difficulties which are appropriate for outpatient intervention. Those presenting with Depression, Anxiety (School phobia, OCD, GAD, PTDS) and Behavioural Difficulties would be seen by the clinic. This would include those presenting with self-harm and eating difficulties. The service would offer a psychiatric assessment and interventions. Interventions may be delivered on a 1:1 basis or through group therapy.
