I have been Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatry since 2000. I am also Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Barts & London Medical School. I am the Lead Clinician of a tertiary service for Children and Adolescent in East London at East London NHS Foundation Trust. I lead a team of 73 Multidisciplinary staff and his service was accredited Excellent by The Royal College of Psychiatrists in July 2013. I hold a Diploma Degree in Family and Couple Therapy and is trained to offer mentalisation based therapy to children and adolescents and their families.
I can offer various services to local families and Hertfordshire Private schools and these are two examples of the services could be offered.
Neurodevelopmental Clinic A Neurodevelopmental Clinic would provide a comprehensive assessment and treatment for children and young people with possible Neurodevelopmental Delay. This service would include multidisciplinary assessments for Autism, ADHD, Tourette's syndrome, Global and Specific Developmental Disorders. The treatment offered would involve parental intervention and individual intervention (medication, CBT) in order to target associated behavioural disorders and/or emotional difficulties such as anxiety and depression. The clinic would work closely with relevant educational facilities whilst offering recommendations and/or interventions that are considered necessary.
Mood and Emotional Disorders A service can be offered to support children, young people and their families who are presenting with emotional difficulties which are appropriate for outpatient intervention. Those presenting with Depression, Anxiety (School phobia, OCD, GAD, PTDS) and Behavioural Difficulties would be seen by the clinic. This would include those presenting with self-harm and eating difficulties. The service would offer a psychiatric assessment and interventions. Interventions may be delivered on a 1:1 basis or through group therapy. The interventions would use an evidence-based approach; predominantly Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) with medication if necessary, with applications of third wave CBT interventions (for example, mindfulness) when appropriate also Family Therapy.

I am interested in studying Anthropology and is currently exploring the options. I has developed a small hospital in Cairo, Egypt which serves poor and needy people in this country.
