I specialise in the management of skin cancer, Mohs micrographic surgery and cutaneous lasers. I currently perform around 500 cases of complex Mohs surgery every year.
I graduated from University College Dublin with an honours degree in Medicine and Surgery. I completed postgraduate specialist medical training to become a member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland. My 5-year specialist training in all aspects of dermatology enabled me to join the specialist GMC register as a Consultant Dermatologist. After completing specialist training in dermatology, I undertook two prestigious Fellowships at St John’s Institute of Dermatology, the first in skin cancer and the second in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Laser Surgery.
I have presented nationally and internationally on skin cancer, skin surgery, lasers and cosmetic dermatology. I am responsible for the training of international and national fellows in Mohs Micrographic Surgery. I also have a Masters Degree in Skin Ageing and Aesthetic Medicine and am an Executive Board member of the British Cosmetic Dermatology Group.

I am on the executive Committee of the British Cosmetic Dermatology group. I run the high risk squamous cell carcinoma clinic in Guys Hospital. I train the national and international Fellows in dermatological surgery at Guys hospital.
