I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for those involved in my recent reverse shoulder joint replacement operation and in my postoperative care.
It is difficult to express how debilitating Osteo Arthritis can be, making the simplest of tasks into an unbelievable challenge, only rewarded by agonising pain and making one unwilling to undertake routine tasks in life. Becoming a couch potato appears ever more attractive.
Before the operation driving, dressing oneself, making the bed, washing up etc were all too painful to contemplate.
The procedure which Mr Venkat and the hospital team carried out on 11 January 2018 is now showing real signs of putting my life back on track.
I would recommend this procedure to anyone who may be undecided as to whether to proceed or not.
