I am a Consultant Gynaecologist at Spire Elland private hospital in Calderdale,Yorkshire, offering private gynaecology surgery in our clean and comfortable hospital. I have over 13 years work experience in the NHS and I have been in my current post as a consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist since 2017.

My expertise is in the treatment of non cancer gynaecologic conditions. I care for women who are suffering from heavy menstrual bleeding and I offer a range of treatments from the Mirena Coil and endometrial ablation using the NovaSure technique, through to hysterectomy. I am particularly interested in colposcopy and procedure of large loop excision of transformation zone - LLETZ for abnormalities of cervical screening. I also perform procedures to treat cervical ectropion and post coital bleeding.

I offer keyhole surgery to investigate the cause of pelvic pain and treat the early stage of endometriosis, and cyst of the ovary. I offer myomectomy to treat fibroid. I prioritise listening as an important part of the consultation, hence all new private patients have a half an hour appointment at the Spire Elland Hospital. This will enable me to individualise the care best suited for my patients' need and wellbeing.

I am a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with the Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust. Having completed my primary medical education in Nigeria, I proceeded to the United Kingdom and obtained a Master's degree by research with the University of Edinburgh; subsequently, I completed a specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with the Humber and Yorkshire rotation from 2010 to 2017. I have a wide range of experience and knowledge, but above all, I have a commitment to provide excellent quality patient-centred care.
