I am a Consultant Urological Surgeon/Urologist who is employed by The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. My sub specialist interests are laparoscopic surgery, stone disease, benign prostatic hyperplasia and laser surgery.
I also specialise in urinary infection and symptoms.
I was awarded a British Urological Foundation Grant (2002) to visit the Department of Urology, Krankenhaus der Elisabethinen, Linz, Austria. The department is an internationally recognised training centre for laparoscopy. This scholarship provided valuable exposure and update on the recent advances in laparoscopy and endourology.
I was also granted BUF Laparoscopy preceptorship (2007) to visit Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, USA. The Cleveland Clinic's Glickman Urological and Kidney Institute offer a wide range of laparoscopic and robotic techniques for a variety of conditions.
