I have been a substantive Consultant General Surgeon since 2006 with a specialist interest in gastrointestinal and laparoscopic minimal access (keyhole) surgery.

I specialise in keyhole bowel surgery, and most general surgical procedures such as hernia and gall bladder removal surgery. I am also a specialist in endoscopic procedures such as gastroscopy and colonoscopy.

I also have a keen interest in training and teaching and I am an honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Leeds.
