Since qualifying at Kings College Hospital in 1983, I have worked as a Chartered Physiotherapist in various clinical fields but predominantly specialising in the musculoskeletal field. My vast knowledge base and clinical experience was gained in numerous hospitals including Ancoats in Manchester, Roehampton, The Wellington and St Charles in London. I was Superintendent Physiotherapy Manager for 10 years at Haslemere Hospital in Surrey. I have worked at Spire Clare Park since 2004.
I work in Outpatients assessing and treating musculoskeletal patients. I have a special interest in ankles and feet and am a member of the Ankle and Foot Association of Physiotherapists (AFAP). I also work alongside the specialist orthotists and can assess patients for orthotics. I also assess and manage adolescent foot problems.
I am a qualified Pilates instructor following training with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI) in 2010. I actively instruct Pilates classes from beginner level upwards together with providing a one to one programme for patients’ specific needs. I am also a qualified member of the Acupuncture Association of Physiotherapists. I incorporate acupuncture into various patient treatment plans. I am extremely active with keeping up to date with my professional development and regularly attend clinical foot and ankle conferences.

I am a keen gardener and when not on my allotment I am usually either cycling or walking the Hampshire Hills.Back to top
