"I am proud to be part of a team at Spire where patient outcomes are the absolute priority. The collaborative culture and top-tier infrastructure allow me to provide advanced MSK services."
I specialise in musculoskeletal (MSK) diagnostic imaging and image-guided interventions, with particular expertise in the domains of orthopaedic and sports injury imaging. I work closely with many elite sports teams including premier league football clubs and have experience in treating sports injuries.
I have established myself as a prominent figure in the field of clinical radiology, holding the substantive post of Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist at the University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust between 2017 and 2025.
In my practice, I focus on advanced spinal interventions and the growing field of orthobiologics. By using Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), we utilise your own blood cells to stimulate tissue repair.
For those suffering from knee osteoarthritis, I offer Arthrosamid®, a novel hydrogel injection. Performed under ultrasound guidance for maximum accuracy, this treatment is designed to stay within the joint, providing long-lasting relief from pain and stiffness that can last for years.
Some of the principal treatments carried out by Dr Neeraj Purohit at Spire include:

Outside of my clinical practice, family life keeps me grounded. I live with my wife and our two boys. For over six years, I have dedicated my spare time to coaching a junior football team—a lively commitment that certainly keeps me active and on my toes.
I have a strong passion for music and play the guitar, occasionally even stepping up to perform at local open mic nights. To unwind, I enjoy a round of golf and have recently embraced the Padel 'bandwagon.' Having personally navigated various aches and pains, such as tennis elbow, I have developed a genuine empathy for the physical challenges my patients face.
