I am a consultant in orthopaedic and trauma surgery at the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. I specialise in trauma, arthritic conditions of the joints and sports injuries. I qualified as a doctor in 2000 and completed my Masters in orthopaedics in India. I then continued my basic and higher surgical training in orthopaedics in the UK before becoming a Fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh in 2012.
I specialise in trauma (fractures), arthroscopy (keyhole surgery) and arthroplasty (joint replacement) surgeries for sports injuries, joint pains and joint arthritic conditions especially in shoulder, elbow and upperlimb.
I have performed nearly 4,500 surgeries including trauma, arthroscopy and arthroplasty.
I have been a trainer for higher surgical trainees in orthopaedics from two deaneries since 2017. I'm also an instructor for the ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) provider course.
