I have recently been appointed as a substantive ENT Consultant at Wrexham Maelor Hospital, specialising in complex ear, hearing and balance disorders. I also have specialist interests in paediatric ENT and facial skin cancer.
My clinical practice includes complex ear, hearing and balance conditions, as well as general ENT, such as blocked nose, throat and voice assessment. I also provide specialist paediatric ENT care, including intracapsular coblation tonsillectomy, and manage facial skin cancer.
I have performed a high volume of procedures, including – over 100 complex ear surgeries, 100 nasal surgeries for obstructed nasal airway, 200 paediatric procedures and more than 200 facial skin cancer surgeries.
During my training, I worked at numerous centres across the UK, gaining broad experience across all aspects of ENT surgery. Patients can therefore expect access to modern, evidence‑based treatments and contemporary surgical techniques. Prior to my ENT training, I served as a doctor in the British Army, including a combat tour in Afghanistan. This experience has helped develop my ability to remain calm under pressure, stay highly organised and communicate effectively.
I am also the Education Lead for ENT at Wrexham Maelor Hospital, with an active role in training and supporting junior doctors.
My other areas of expertise include – ankyloglossia (tongue tie), balance disorders, dizziness, eardrum repair, Eustachian tube dilatation, facial skin lesions, hearing loss, hearing restoration surgery, intracapsular coblation tonsillectomy, nosebleeds and skin cancer.
