"The facilities at Spire Hospital are second to none. The entire team is committed to each patient's treatment and ensuring high standards of care and comfort at all times. I love working here."

Specialises in

  • Circumcision
  • Epididymal cysts removal
  • Vasectomy
  • Urodynamics

I offer a comprehensive review of all general urology cases (blood in the urine, raised PSA/prostate-specific antigen, urinary symptoms/ urinary incontinence, tight foreskin in adults or children, testicular/scrotal lumps, urethral stricture assessment, erectile dysfunction) including a full range of diagnostic procedures (endoscopy, prostate biopsy and urodynamics) and urological surgeries (cystoscopy, bladder lesion/tumour resection, TURP surgery for the prostate, transperineal prostate biopsy, circumcision in both adults and children, hydrocele surgery, epididymal cyst removal, vasectomy, injection of bladder Botox to treat urine incontinence).

I obtained my medical qualification from King's College London in 2008. Subsequently, after completing foundation/junior doctor training (Chichester and St.Helier Hospital in London (2008-2010), and a year at Brighton and Sussex Medical School as an Anatomy Demonstrator (2010)), I completed my core surgical training in the West Midlands Deanery (Stoke 2011, Shrewsbury 2012). Following this I was accepted into higher Urological training in the North West rotation (Mersey, 2013-2018). During the latter, I completed sub-specialist training in reconstructive urology (management of male urethral stricture disease), urinary incontinence, and andrology (erectile dysfunction and penile curvature management). I then took up my current post as Consultant Urological surgeon in Wrexham Maelor Hospital in 2019.

In my NHS consultant post, I also hold the role of Betsi Cadwaladar University Health Board's Clinical Governance Lead for Urology. I have held this post since 2019 and am incharge of overseeing maintenance of the highest clinical standards to safeguard excellent Urological patient care in North Wales.
