Professional profile

I am an experienced and registered nutritional therapist. I am registered with the British Association of Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT) and the Complementary and Natural Health Council (CNHC). I qualified from the Institute of Optimum Nutrition & University of Bedfordshire in 2012. I regularly attend continued professional development training seminars and supervision sessions.

I have over 10 years experience within the health and fitness industry supporting people to make health and lifestyle changes. I have worked for both private companies and the NHS & CHCP in Hull.

I have a keen interest in behavioural change and understanding how to motivate my clients in order for them to achieve the health outcomes they aspire too. In order to do this I tailor my programs and support style depending on the requirements on each individual. This is supported by my training in functional medicine; functional medicine addresses the underlying causes of poor health and disease, using a system-centred approach to support health improvements.

Personal Profile

I have a keen interest in all aspects of health and well-being but as a new mum of a beautiful little boy I have little time to spare. When I do have some free time I love to exercise which for me includes gym and pilates sessions. I am a qualified pilates instructor and still run regular weekly classes. I also love to cook and experiment with food and new recipes as this allows me to spend quality time with my family and also helps me to support my clients more effectively.
