I am a senior Interventional Cardiologist with over 12 years’ experience as a consultant, specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery disease. I have performed more than 3,500 coronary angioplasty procedures, including complex coronary interventions, and I am committed to delivering high-quality, patient-focused cardiac care.
My practice covers a full range of cardiology investigations and treatments, including cardiac catheterisation (coronary angiogram) to assess the heart’s blood supply, as well as coronary angioplasty to restore blood flow and relieve symptoms such as chest pain. I also perform cardioversion for abnormal heart rhythms and offer permanent pacemaker implantation where required.
In addition, I provide comprehensive cardiac diagnostic testing, including echocardiography to assess heart structure and function, exercise ECG testing to evaluate symptoms during physical activity, and ECG monitoring (24- and 48-hour event recorders) to detect intermittent rhythm abnormalities. I also carry out 24-hour blood pressure monitoring to support accurate diagnosis and management of hypertension.
My specialist clinical interests include angiography, complex angioplasty, cardiac catheterisation, cardioversion and advanced ECG-based assessment, allowing me to offer a complete pathway of care from diagnosis through to treatment.
