I attended Spire Harpenden in December 2016 for my initial consultation with Mr Ghali.

I had previously been through the NHS with extreme breast asymmetry, and it was here I met Mr Ghali. I had met previous consultants in the NHS but none made me feel as comfortable as Mr Ghali. Unfortunately the NHS rejected me for treatment, and through Mr Ghali’s recommendation I came to see him at Spire

I then went on to have my Mastopexy procedure  on 4 July 2017. I trusted Mr Ghali from the off-set. He was the only consultant that listened to my concerns and worries. I couldn't wish for anything better to have happened. He explained the process in full and made me aware of everything, he is an outstanding surgeon, an incredible person in general.

Everyone looked after me really well! My aftercare was amazing, especially Teresa Jellis, who gave me her direct number to contact her, should I have any concerns, and was reassured by her during any times of panic.  Everyone was friendly & caring and the staff worked  well as a team together. My healing process went well, I felt fine.

My advice to anyone who has concerns re going private – it was worth it 100%, well worth the cost.

From my experience, the care I received, kindness, and help! I’d say that if you’re on the fence, just go for it! When choosing your consultant, it’s definitely worth meeting them and getting to know them. You should have a bond with that person and fully trust them.

Any decision Mr Ghali made, he would do right by me. I was steered by my consultant, an expert in his field. I would definitely recommend Mr Ghali.

It has completely changed my life.
