My whole Spire Harpenden experience went extremely well, throughout, from booking the day I wished for my procedure to pre-op, to the actual procedure on my hip, to post-op, and to subsequent physiotherapy. I was treated with professionalism, kindness and understanding throughout, by all concerned, and fully appreciated my own room, and the great facilities and food provided. Mr Davies came highly recommended and exceeded all my expectations. My procedure was slightly complicated by my underlying idiopathic neuropathy and age. This was especially the case in respect of how I should be anaesthetised. The consultant anaesthetist went through every option with me, explained the pros and cons of each simply and thoroughly and helped me to make the right decision. He also followed up with me post-operatively for three days.
