With regard to the procedure I was very pleased that Mr Amin and I agreed to go through (with) the RAFAELO procedure rather than the full haemorrhoidectomy (having had that some 30 years ago). The benefit of not having to go through a full operation and anaesthesia made the procedure all the better and while the recovery time is a little longer, it more than makes up for this. Mr Amin was very clear in his guidance on the benefits and pitfalls of the procedure and really helped me in making my decision.
