I have been a Consultant in an NHS Trust and Spire Harpenden Hospital for over 10 years. I have had extensive training in General and Vascular Surgery and have continued to develop and update my skills. Laparoscopic gallbladder and hernia surgery is my other area of expertise. For several years I have carried out one of the largest number of these procedures for my Trust with excellent results and outcome.
I have pioneered the Endovenous treatment (VNUS) and Ultrasound guided foam injection sclerotherapy of Varicose veins in the NHS and Spire Harpenden, currently carrying out one of the highest number of these treatments in the country, with excellent results and patient satisfaction. I also provide a VNUS scanning service in my clinic for varicose veins.
I have an extremely busy vascular practice dealing with a large number of complex vascular problems including Carotid disease, Aortic Aneurysms and peripheral Vascular disease. As well as Vascular surgery, I am a fully trained General Surgeon.
I am the designated lead thyroid surgeon for the Trust and carry out a large number of thyroid operations every year with a high standard of care for the patients.
