I am a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon and specialise in Oculoplastic, Lacrimal and Orbital Surgery. This includes the surgical management of eyelid malpositions, eyelids lumps (cysts, benign lumps and eyelid cancers), watery eyes and lacrimal disorders (tear drainage surgery), evisceration (removal of blind eye) and orbital implants (rehabilitative eye socket surgery). I also offer eyelid lifts (ptosis surgery), blepharoplasties and brow lifts.
Non surgical treatments offered include anti wrinkle injections and dermal fillers and skin resurfacing, including treatment for skin pigmentation patches.
My NHS practice is based at Luton and Dunstable NHS foundation Trust, where I am the Clinical Lead for the Oculoplastics Services and the Acute Eye Clinic Service. I have full specialist registration with the General Medical Council and have undergone extensive training in Ophthalmology and Oculoplastics surgery in London’s most prestigious eye hospitals. My post graduate Ophthalmology training rotation covered North London and I completed my Ophthalmology residency at Moorfields Eye Hospital.
I followed this with an 18 month Fellowship at the Craniofacial Unit at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, which involved training with Plastic Surgeons, ENT and Maxillofacial Specialists, as well as Oculoplastics Consultants, ensuring an extensive training in Facial and Eyelid reconstructive surgery. I then went on to complete a further 18 month Fellowship at Imperial College, London in Lacrimal and Orbital Surgery, including tumour excision and reconstruction and endoscopic lacrimal surgery.
I have published over 15 peer review publications and regularly present my work at National and International Conferences.
