Having been trained in general otolaryngology in Cambridge and Birmingham, I developed an interest in the management of head and neck cancer while working in Newcastle and Sunderland. In addition, my clinical interests include thyroid and other neck lumps including cancer, paediatric ear, nose and throat disorders and snoring.
I was awarded the TWJ Fellowship to work at Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town where I gained experience in the management of advanced ear disease, cancer of the head and neck and penetrating neck injuries.
I have also developed an interest in performing functional endoscopic sinus surgery and minimally invasive treatment of snoring.
